Anchors Landing , located in the Hickory, North Carolina area, is a secluded and gated lakefront community. It is ideally positioned at the protected wilderness foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, yet centrally-situated about one hour from Asheville, Charlotte, Blowing Rock/Boone, and Winston-Salem.

Regional North Carolina landscape and native architecture inspire the designs of gracious new homes on generous, acre-plus wooded lots. Residents enjoy a spacious, relaxing clubhouse, swimming pool, stocked fishing lakes, paved scenic hiking trails/bike paths, nature parks, plus a fenced dry-storage boat area and daily use community boat slips.

Anchors Landing is on Lake Hickory (4,200 acres)  which features 105 miles of shoreline, 20% of which is preserved park land. The natural beauty of Lake Hickory and the convenience to Hickory, NC make Anchors Landing a desirable address for a primary, retirement, or vacation home.

Attached is a flyer about a chance to make a beautiful wreath - compliments of our talented "craft lady" and her marvelous craft room! Your wreath could reflect Halloween, the fall season, or even Thanksgiving! This is a kid event, but adults are definitely invited!
Help Request for the Annual Meeting, 10/18
By Lynda Walter on August 11, 2014
This year the annual meeting is Saturday, October 18. It will be held at the fire station again. I am looking for volunteers to help set-up and clean up.
For set-up, we will need to be there about one hour before the meeting, so around 1pm. It involves moving chairs around and setting up tables.
The meeting is supposed to end around 4, followed by dinner. We would need to stay after dinner to break down the tables, gather up all the garbage and put away the chairs. If you would be willing to help please let me know by phone, 313-0300, or e-mail, lala13@embarqmail.com
